New Academis Session (2010-2011) Begins

With 38 new students AICS resumes her Academic Session for 2010 -2011 with Principal's Tea followed by Orientation on 3rd June, 2010. Retreat will be organised from 4th - 6th June and regular class will be commencing from 7th June onward.

8th Valedictory Service

On 14th April, 2010 the 8th Valedictory Service was conducted at Pastor Thanzinga Chapel, AICS in which 23 graduates (20 BD & 3 M.Div.) were valedicted. Rev C. Rothuama, President, Baptist Church of Mizoram delivered valedictory address.

First Batch of Pastor Refresher's Course

As the previous Assembly (the highest Committee) of Baptist Church of Mizoram already decided to select pastors from various pastorates to do Pastor Refresher's Course at AICS under Ministerial Training, the course is ducted on 9th February 2010. For the first Batch, 7 pastors from different pastorates are selected to do the course from 9th-24th February 2010. Various subjects and issues related to ministry are taught in order to help pastors to catch up with the present social issues as well as to update their intellects. The following are the names of pastors with their respective pastorates.

THEOLOGY OF SINGING

AICS is known as 'College of Singing'. Students as well as teachers sing a lot. Singing in the air through All India Radio and Doordarshan Kendra (National Television Channel) is not foreign to AICS. This becomes one of the annual events of the College.
